A Poem to Share with All in the Midst of COVID

GREATEST

We choose the narrow and the deep
Nowhere to go because it’s narrow
A time to sink low .

At the bottom God’s richness dwells
At the lowest …
In the deepest…
He is richest.

His greatness LIFTS
Lifting us higher
Lifting us closer
Until all we feel is His great love
Until all we see is His heart
Until all we know is that we belong.

Our spirits cry out ,
I have a Father
and loved
…a cry that comes out of His love
.. a cry released from a mouth fed by His truth.

And this is richness beyond none other
A richness solely found in God’s greatness
His greatness told,
His perfect love unfolds.
