The definition of the verb ‘discourage’ is to deprive one of courage, hope or confidence. It is to dissuade and to obstruct one because of opposition or difficulty. It is to hinder.

The Psalmist started of with ‘I will lift up my eyes to the mountains.’ This is imagery denoting how a person looks to YHWH and trust Him. ‘To the mountains’ denotes:
Proverbs 26:24, ‘He that hateth dissembleth with his lips.’
The book of Corinthians presents Christ as the mighty conqueror who removes the painful sting of death, and promises a holy transformation from mortal flesh to the immortal body in union with God.
Revelation 21:5 says, ‘for these words are true and faithful.’
Matthew 11:28-30:
Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
