Christmas 2013′

Christmas Candlelight Service – (Dec. 22, 2013)

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.” Isaiah 60:1

Symbolic of the year 2013…Isaiah 60: 1 is a fitting description of the ‘divine’ season we are in at E_tab. A time of arising in the midst of dismal darkness, and to shine forth the glory of the Lord!

Since the later part of this year, we have been experiencing an ‘awakening’ of sorts, and still enthralled at God’s providence paving the way for prophecies to be fulfilled, we celebrated the year end in simple thanksgiving to the God whose word never failed!

As simple as our candlelight service was, it spoke tons…at how the light of the world “JESUS” shone forth His countenance and power upon us – that we may BE that light to the rest of the “WORLD.” As we raised our candles and voices in one accord, we signified as a church and His people – WE ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD! Oh Come, Let us Adore Him!

Potluck Celebration…(Oh happy day!)
For starters…this was also the year for trying out NEW things!

Our church twinkled all around with lights galore, expertly and thoroughly mapped out by our Expert in Design, Pas. Carlyn Barcelona!

And for the first time, we had a Potluck celebration of sorts, with the different culinary experts‘who came up with 60 dishes all in all, to vie for the much coveted best dish for the night!

Our honorable judges for the evening Joy, Ben and Pastor Toh Nee, seemingly had the difficult – albeit enviable task of judging…a 60 course array! Of course, acclaimed chef for the night was Sis. Corazon Kabayao, with her “Ground Pork Surprise,” a variation of Shepherds’ Pie ala Flipiniana!

By the way, Thanks Ben & Joy for the sumptous Lechon…Christmas definitely wouldn’t be complete without it!

Twas’ two nights before Christmas…and E_tab simply celebated with lotsa, lotsa FOOD, FUN & LOVE to all!

BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!

Cloud

Scripture Reading: Exodus 13:21-22, Psalms 104:3

‘By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light.

He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.’

God Over Answers Prayer

Someone once said, ‘the faith to pray must include the faith to believe God can give even when our prayers are lacking.’ There are all sorts of things we pray all the time and we do not necessary believe them to come to past – but yet they are prayers that get answered.
