Encounter

Twas’ a rainy, rainy encounter last first week of June that we held at Living Springs, Dumangas. And yeah, true to form… living springs of His Spirit did come about, symbolically and figuratively. What with the impending tropical storm that hit the Visayas during that time, we too were soaking in the deluge of the Holy Spirit!

As with every of our encounter sessions God did not disappoint, as for the next three days our people soaked in the word and His presence. God’s power did come like a mighty rushing wind, even in the midst of the sessions, when the winds and rain came unceasingly, His presence came unceasingly…in the quiet stillness during each morning’s devotional, through the word during each session, through every altar call at the end of each service, God’s was visibly with His people!

At the end of it, through the many obstacles we encountered God still came nonetheless, faithful to His word that those who wait for Him shall renew their strength, they shall mount up on wings of eagles….

Truly, our sure reward is in the many lives the encounter’ has touched and transformed. The indelible touch of God is after all written in the hearts of the many who came, and encountered God!

God Over Answers Prayer

Someone once said, ‘the faith to pray must include the faith to believe God can give even when our prayers are lacking.’ There are all sorts of things we pray all the time and we do not necessary believe them to come to past – but yet they are prayers that get answered.
