Gird Up Your Loins For 2018

This will be the theme of Etab for year 2018 – GIRD UP YOUR LOINS!

“Wherefore gird up the loins of your minds; be sober and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 1:13).

To gird up our loins is to be prepared to work for Christ. “As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work.” (John 9:4 (NIV).

We are living in the last day when Christ’s second coming is getting more and more imminent. What better way for a church to be ready for this second coming of Christ than for the church to gird up her loins by doing the works that Christ has commanded us.

So, let’s all not be the lazy servants of Christ for the coming new year of 2018. Let’s all gird up our loins individually and corporately and occupy ourselves till Christ comes again.
