Healing Room Ministry Finally & Officially at Evangel Tabernacle

Thanks to the Living Sanctuary Brethren Church (LSBC) team from Singapore who came to Iloilo City and taught us the HEALING ROOM MINISTRY (HRM) in May 2018.

So, on 10 July 2018, Etab officially launched the HRM. We organized our Main Sanctuary into 4 Healing Rooms with 2 ministers assigned to each room. There was also a small group of Intercessors praying while the ministers conducted the HRM to the patients. Two administrators were assigned outside of the sanctuary for the patients. On that day, 12 patients from the community came to our HRM. They were all pre-believers.

It was a challenge for our new HRM team since we were new. Yet God was good. The more inadequate we felt, the more He released His grace upon our team. While the 8 ministers conducted the HRM, intercessors were praying and writing down the prophetic download from the Holy Spirit about the 12 patients. There was no interaction between the patients and the Intercessors and yet many of them received accurate download about the conditions, the state of their emotions, the problems and the struggles of the sick patients.

Debriefing…

The ministers too were used by the Holy Spirit to even sense the ailment way before the patients were assigned to them. When the ministers ministered under the healing and prophetic anointing, confirmed and complemented by the prophetic downloads of the Intercessors, the patients were amazed at the accuracy of the detection of their root problems. Some patients cried loudly, some manifested with demons cast out of them; some were healed as they were being prayed for; some were led to the Lord; some received short counselling; some walked home totally sensing the liberty that HRM had given them in the name of Christ.

Group prayer before HRM starts.

As a pastor of Etab, I personally sense that the Holy Spirit is raising another new group of Evangelites who are hungry to be used by God in the area of bringing liberty to people around them. It is not a coincident that HRM and SOZO were launched as official new ministries of Etab at almost the same time. God used wonderful people from Singapore to equip us with new tools so that we can effectively break the chains that are upon so many people, including those in the church too. Chains in the form of diseases and infirmities; chains in the form of old wounds; chains in the form of fear and bitterness; chains in the form of sin.

There is this song written by Tasha Cobbs called BREAK EVERY CHAIN and it goes like this:

There is power in the name of Jesus
There is power in the name of Jesus
There is power in the name of Jesus
To break every chain, break every chain, break every chain
To break every chain, break every chain, break every chain.

There’s an army rising up
There’s an army rising up
There’s an army rising up
To break every chain, break every chain, every chain
To break every chain, break every chain, every chain

HRM is that small army rising up from Etab who is committed to break every chain of diseases and sicknesses by the power in the name of Jesus.

Liberty and Joy will be the outcome we will see from the many patients who come to the HRM at Etab every 2nd and 3rd Tuesday of the Month. Till the present, God is faithful as to be sending 12 patients consistently to HRM at Etab from the community for healing. It is a joy to witness a change of countenance in all these patients. They come in with a fallen countenance but always leave with uplifted countenance, healed and liberated. The greatest joy is to see them saved and are now attending our Sunday service as a result of the HRM. Glory be to God!

For those of you who are sick and want to be healed, I invite you to come to the HRM at Evangel Tabernacle at Tabuc Suba, Jaro, Iloilo City – every 2nd and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6.00pm. Jehovah Rapha is waiting for you there!!!

The Way Up Is Down

Humility is seen, lived, and perfected in Christ. Humility begins with Christ, not us. Humility is not a human virtue we perfect; it is a Christ revealed reality we can receive.

Jesus came for two purposes: To represent the Faithful God, the God whose face was smitten because of another god and to present us to the Father as the redeemed unfaithful lovers.

From Labor To Legacy

There are moments when God calls us to work, to serve, to labor quietly — even when no one notices. There are also moments when He allows testing — not to crush us, but to complete us.
