Today I want to talk to you about the kingdom of God
This is one of the most talked about topics of Jesus… Kingdom
There are many verse that speaks about the kingdom
Matthew 4:17
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Matthew 6:10
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
And what does this mean anyway? I too didn’t know what these meant
You see
Kingdom means –
governing influence of a king within a territory
implementation of the law
Adam
You see in the past God wanted to extend his kingdom in the seen world , that’s why he made earth
and he made a king in his image
Genesis 1:26
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
image means = moral, character, spiritual
mamlakah: kingdom, sovereignty, dominion, reign
Kingdom = king + domain = mamlaka
That is why we don’t like being told what to do because we have the DNA of our father, We rule
Management = is the reason why man was made
We were not made to worship…
cause even non Christian have a good business in this earth because they are using their trait,
and we Christians are too busy worshipping and we forgot what we were made to do.
We were made to rule / govern
And as the story goes satan tricked eve and adam and they lost something.
what did Adam lost? Spiritual authority over the earth / legal control in Earth
Why did Jesus took so many yrs to restore our rights? Because God needed a prototype or a concept of a kingdom
Assyrians, Chaldeans, Babylon… they would bring the captives back to their country
The roman empire was the first empire similar to the heavenly kingdom
the Romans would send a governor (Pilate)
when in Rome do as the Romans do
like Philippines and Spain
Matthew 6:9-10
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Now when Jesus started his ministry the first words that came from his mouth was
Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

It is a Spiritual kingdom
That’s why Jesus said it in this verse…
Matthew 12:28
28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
Jesus didn’t came down as a Religious man, priest or prophet
There were only 2 Offices that he didn’t deny and that is the office of a KING and the Son of God
John 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

Ecclesiastes 8:4 Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?
Psalms 24:1 The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
That’s why Jesus said my word stands forever
And now we can understand why being an lgbt is a sin, fornication is a sin … because God said so

A kings power is distributed to his servants
Giving to the king
Now giving to a king is a very important matter
As the bible says
Mark 12:17
Then Jesus said to them, “Give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.”
The king owns everything – we don’t own anything…
it was simply given to us for management
Your mama didn’t have anything when she was born it was simply given to her
When you withhold your giving to a king you acknowledge that your wealth belongs to you
And you’re just giving God a reason to take it from you.
Giving in the kingdom is one of the greatest acts of acknowledgment that it is not your money.
When you give to a king – you are acknowledging that everything you own belongs to him
When you give a tithe – you’re telling him that 90% is still his, because he only asks for 10% and he lets you manage the 90%
If you miss manage the 90% he takes that from you and if you don’t give the 10% he takes that from you just to remind you everything belongs to him

A gift must be given to a king
A gift must be fitting for a king

20 But the firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou redeem him not, then shalt thou break his neck. All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.

16 A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great.
John 4:10
10 Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”

When a king wants to prove he’s a greater king, the king is to give him a gift. If the king can’t give greater he is perceived as lesser if he can give greater he is perceived as a greater king

9 And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices great abundance, and precious stones: neither was there any such spice as the queen of Sheba gave king Solomon.
10 And the servants also of Huram, and the servants of Solomon, which brought gold from Ophir, brought algum trees and precious stones.

Malachi 3:8-10
8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.
Entering the kingdom of Heaven
One day this earth will be out of control
Because satan will change the laws of God
You know why he can change the laws? Because they are his children and satan is their king
Meaning they don’t want God as king anymore
That is why one day Jesus will come back to restore all things
He will rapture us, so that we won’t get into crossfire and kill all the rebels
Now how sure are we that we are gonna make it? Even paul talked about ensure your salvation
Work out your salvation with fear and trembling
Luke10:25-28
25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
Luke18:18-30
18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.
20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.
21 And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.
22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.
24 And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
25 For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
26 And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?
27 And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
28 Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.
29 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake,
30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.
If you’re not a Jesus fanatic you won’t make it…
I’m not telling you im the best fan of Jesus…
I’m telling in everything you do, ask yourselves where is God in this?

Many will say receive Jesus and be baptized… big deal my friend
I have seen so many friends of mine touched by God believed in God baptized and are not in the faith right now…
Many accepted Jesus not because they love him its only because they don’t want hell
There’s a big difference you know
You know I have always believed in pre-destination
In fact I always talked about this a lot… I am more of a Calvinist than an Armenian
And it is one of the top topics that I would cry a lot.. when God would remind me about my past and how he called me. How grateful I am that he called me in the ministry. And here we see other Christians like they made their way to the top. They don’t know about a thing.
