Mentoring with LSBC

Apr. 26 – 29, 2014
Mentoring session with the LSBC Team

For starters…were were doubly’ priveleged to have our Co-partners in Christ with us, for a four-day mentoring session…none other than our new found family…Living Sanctuary Brethren Church Singapore!

This divine alliance of sorts’ had been an ongoing buildup since late last year…and presently LSBC is venturing into a partnership with E_tab under the (catch your breath!) SIMPLE DISCIPLESHIP CHURCH PLANTING PHILS. INC.

New things have indeed transpired for 2014…God in His infinite plan would have us (once again) forge this new union for His glory…true to His word…the Lord gives and the Lord takes away…BLESSED BE THE NAME OF THE LORD!

Pas. Lawrence Chua and team…
We were definitely not left as orphans, in this new era… a new spirit and family was birthed. And just as 2 years have quickly sped by…here we were on the brink of a new vision and destiny!

What more better way to describe them but FAMILY. As SP Lawrence, reiterated repeatedly…they put a high premium of Relationships, and that we are all a part of each others’ journey, we all play a part in God’s divine blueprint… so need we say more? Simple Discipleship would only mean focusing on ‘the’ 4 Essentials:

Essential Community
Essential Christ
Essential Cell
Essential Commission

Living out Christ, was the most essential of all, however. On our last day together, they spoke personally to each one of us a Word of Knowledge, a profound blessing, a prophecy. One just sensed the love of God bringing us together…hovering in our small church office…it was a piece of heaven which had long been a missing ingredient in our inner hearts!

And to think, this was just the Start…

The Way Up Is Down

Humility is seen, lived, and perfected in Christ. Humility begins with Christ, not us. Humility is not a human virtue we perfect; it is a Christ revealed reality we can receive.

The Unfaithful Lover

Jesus came for two purposes: To represent the Faithful God, the God whose face was smitten because of another god and to present us to the Father as the redeemed unfaithful lovers.
