One Good Meal

Our very second community REVOLVE project for HOF, kicked off last 30th of August with a massive “One Good Meal” for 1,000 constituents of Brgy. San Isidro, Jaro. Considered a relocation site for typhoon ravaged communities, San Isidro is one populated community, further degraded by poverty and opportunities. As such, this community outreach was a welcome blessing for a vast majority.

Prior to this, the REVOLVE fund was raised with an estimated budget of P30, 000. Yet, much to everyone’s surprise P57, 510 was collected through this fundraising! Thus, E-tab geared up for a very “One Good Meal” indeed – consisting of a six course entree’ in fiesta style!

On that Friday itself, the gym was jam packed and estimated to have a crowd of over 1,000 … so much so, we had to ease on the registration department to accommodate the long queu! Yet, though it was just for a night … evident on each of their faces was relief, though but for a moment!

The singed fingers, and aching bodies from cooking were well worth it … truly the greatest … is the servant of all. And this was one experience we all cherished, knowing all our sacrifices…aching joints and all were for a cause!

Much thanks, to all region members, who from the wee hours of the morning offered their labor of love to make this night a success … not to mention all who generously gave!

To God be the Glory!
