TESTIMONY
I am Pastor Cherry “Bobot” Pedroso, but they used to call me Pastor Bobot. My wife’s name is Pastora Andrea Pedroso and she’s a full time worker too and we have two industrious full time worker named Dexter Sabelino, our Organist, Michael Borra, our Guitarist. By God’s grace I’m pastoring a church in Janiuay, “Jesus Our Mighty Redeemer Fellowship” for almost 17 years including my former organization. I praise God that through the prayers, vision and revelation that God has given me, I have found my calling and that is to work in God’s vineyard. Now I am a full time Pastor and enjoying God’s work here in Janiuay, Iloilo. There are times that my heart is crying out to God and praying to God that He would bless the people of Janiuay, not only this church but as well as the community and one day I received a chat message from Pastor Carlos Barcelona, (my classmate in high school) of Evangel Tabernacle Iloilo, and He tried to call my cellphone but He could not reach me and so he left a message on a messenger and I called Him and He told me that they have a ministry, a mission to extend blessings to the community and they were praying for our church to be the recipient and they were planning to visit us to bless the community here in our place on September 17, 2016. And without hesitation I accepted the blessing wholeheartedly because I know this is God’s way of blessing the good people of Janiuay and this is my heart’s desire and I believe God answered our prayers. So one day in advance, Pastor Carlos and wife Pastora Carlyn arrived and brought the gift packs they have prepared for the gift giving and we talked and shared and God truly was in our midst because we felt that His presence is truly with us and I’m so blessed that I have met this very down to earth couple and we have a wonderful fellowship that time and before they left us they offered prayers for my wife and we felt God’s strong presence that we cannot resist. We felt God’s glory surrounded us. To God be the glory!!!
Then Saturday came, and I’m so amazed because the people came very early and were so excited. Honestly we were excited too, and expecting that God will do great things more than we expect. The team has arrived and was very blessed and privileged to meet the saints of God from Evangel Tabernacle especially Pastor Toh Nee and Pastora Lily a very humble man and woman of God. Then the program started and I was blessed because people were very attentive to listen to God’s word. I have seen how God touched their lives, they were crying but it was tears of joy. They said, they have felt God’s presence and that their loads were unloaded by God, they felt the lightness in their spirit. They felt God’s love and they have sensed that God has done great things in their lives. I have seen joy in their faces as they received God’s blessing. They went home feeling God healed them not only physically but spiritually and even financially.
I can say that this ministry was truly a blessing not only to the community but even in this church, Jesus Our Mighty Redeemer, because we were praying for a new LCD projector, because the old one is not working anymore. I told one of our congregation to borrow a projector from their school and thank God he did it, but I said to my heart “Lord God, I know You are our Provider”, so I kept that faith that God will provide but I don’t have an idea when. So we just prayed. Pastor Toh Nee asked me regarding the cost of the painting for the church and I answered him I have no idea, so he told me to call my wife and he told me that he will give us P20,000.00 and it’s up to us how we are going to use the money, it’s either paint for the church or to put CR. But my wife and I believed that it was for the LCD Projector. We really Praise God that God has a million ways in blessing His people. And now we have a new EPSON EB S31 projector. To God be the glory! And God blessed us more that He provides and now we are beautifying the sanctuary of God in Janiuay. (Nagapaminta na kmi subong) He provided Paint as well as He blessed us with P10,000.00 for our electrician. To God be the glory!!!
A day after the gift giving we visited those people who received God’s blessing and they said that the gathering was one of a kind. They have felt God’s presence and they have peace in their hearts and they cannot explain in words how they felt. Some of them said they received healing, and they cannot hold their tears. God truly touched them. At this time we are establishing a relationship with them by visiting their homes and talk with them and pray for them and hoping they will come to church in God’s perfect time.
Thank You Pastor Toh Nee, Pastora Lily, Pastor Carlos, Pastora Carlyn and all Evangel Tabernacle Iloilo Care Group for all your sacrifices. God will reward you in due time. In Hebrews 6:10 says, God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
