Just in time for Valentine’s Day which is some two days away.. Our DJ Cell Group under the leadership of Pas. Carlos Barcelona organized a Pre-Valentine’s Pot Luck celebration to celebrate the “love” month. And what better way to remember this most awaited event, than a night of fun, food and fellowship. And true enough the love of God was shed about in our hearts, through friendships and camaraderie, brought together by a common bond : LOVE.
This message is suitable after 21 days full fast. It focusses on gratitude, transformation and obedience.
Often discouragement sets in after great spiritual experiences, especially those requiring physical effort or involving great emotion.
Joel 2:25 (KJV) – And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
Biblical fasting is the voluntary abstaining from food (and sometimes drink) for a spiritual purpose – to seek God with humility, repentance, prayer, and dependence. Biblical fasting is not about manipulating God but positioning ourselves before Him.
God doesn’t want you to finish the year empty— He wants you to finish on FIRE.
