Second Service Family Day

By: Rev. Carlos Barcelona Jr.

Date: October 8, 2017

The second service people came excitedly on October 8, 2017 @ 2pm, bringing some family members and friends to the church. We were led into praise and worship by Sis. Verona and it was followed by the sharing of the Word of God. Time was given for people to make the decision to follow the Lord. The challenge was for the heads of the family, especially the husbands who can lead their wives and children to serve God. Many fathers and even mothers responded to the challenge to make a decision for themselves and to decide for their family to follow the Lord.

After that we played some games with prizes to the enjoyment of all. Leaders and members played together to make everyone feel at home. It was a great time seeing them cheering for participants who did some actions on the stage.

The time for the small group was even more satisfying as every DJCG cooked and brought their own food to share with their members. Thanks to Pas. Lily for giving us P3,000.00 that enabled us to prepare 150 packs of rice toppings & drinks that were distributed to everybody.  On that day 146 people came as second service family.

Glory be to God!

From Labor To Legacy

There are moments when God calls us to work, to serve, to labor quietly — even when no one notices. There are also moments when He allows testing — not to crush us, but to complete us.
