Spiritual Emphasis 2014

with Pastor Guna Raman
Sept 19 – 21

It was a three day feast on the Word…and we simply sat under the footstool of God’s servant, while our passion was rekindled once more. It was truly a feast that filled our hearts to overflowing!

Day 1 – Wisdom
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom …

Our lives are made up of choices; and every choice is like a fork on the road ; our choices can make us or break us … thus the importance of wisdom. Wisdom is insight , the ability to notice differences or see distinctions others don’t see … and it starts with the heart … when we have a positive fear of the Lord we make choices that would never break God’s heart … and that is wisdom.

Day 2 – The Guy with the hole in His heart …

All wounded People with inner emptiness search for hope , and many hope to heal their pain through that one true love . But though we search for meaning and fulfillment in that one true love , it almost always end up in disappointment. What ultimately fulfills this hope … is when we find and experience the love of God .

Day 3 – The Girl who won the Sex Contest …

We are all at places in life by God’s Sovereign design, and we all have a role to play in God’s Sovereign purpose . But no matter what we may be facing … God is not only the God of the cross (who forgives your past ) He is the God of Resurrection (who remakes your future). God is able to take your pain … and use it for His PLAN !

God spoke once, and our eyes beheld Him like Job … as His spirit exposed every motive , every sin … we came in our brokenness … and experienced God’s acceptance and love!
