After an ‘uber’ hectic May Harvest Month, when Etab went into Evangelism overdrive, and when everything settled down came the reward for a ‘Job’ well done!
Truly a ‘laborer deserves His wages’ and what more than a sumptuous spread of eat-all-you-can Barbeque and local Oysters. And it was truly a reward indeed!
Holiness means being set apart for God, living in a way that reflects His character. 1 Peter 1:15-16 says, ‘But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do: for it is written: ‘Be holy, because I am holy.’
Redemption always involves a ransom or a sacrifice to buy us back from Satan, our slave master; to buy us back from our sin and folly.
When something deviates from its original plan and design, and is recovered and restored, we call it redemption.
