Taste of Classical Ballet on Point

Continuing on our weekly round of classical presentation…for starters we were feted by a classical presentation of Ballet on Point, proudly rendered to us by the Sol Fernandez Ballet School…and Prima Ballerina Atty. Gilda Villanueva, who for the first time in a long time rendered her talent as unto the Lord once more, and rendered a heart touching interpretation for her piece!

Truly, we are amazed at God’s creation…the body is an amazing tool…that can give glory to our maker…even through dance!

THE CONCEPT OF REST
Thus, Pas. Toh nee would elaborate on God’s rest.

What may have been a simple word, brought that much needed rest to our souls.

All who came, thirsty, weary, burned out, defeated…was refreshed by the spoken word, that we are to rest in the LORD! Why are we indeed ANXIOUS, when God is seated on the throne!

Much like Pas. Toh nee quipped: “Isaiah 32:7 says ‘And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.’ It is so clear. By returning and repenting and walking with God. Then our works of righteousness will be peace, and the service of righteousness, quietness, calmness, and rest with cessation of war and having confidence in life again.”

Thus, “in quiet rest and trust will be our salvation.”
