
John 21:20 – “Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them; the one who also had leaned back on His bosom at the supper and said, “Lord, who is the one who betrays You?”

David was a great man, but he was guilty of great sin, which infected his home. In 2 Samuel 12:11-13, Nathan confronted David about his sin with Bathsheba.

The passage tells us that Jesus had to pass through Samaria as He was going from Judea to Galilee.

A life that follows close to Christ will experience its share of hardships, but we must remain urgent and focused in fulfilling our calling.
