A lot of us Christians don’t know that we are in the middle of a war. we think it’s full of baloney
or some of us even refuse to mind about it.
Who are these Christians?
The lukewarm christians of course. They are the sunday goers only christians
You see our society/culture has polluted our thinking that by going to Sunday only services we can make it to heaven, I strongly disagree.
I have never seen a man in the bible like that. You see a there are levels in christianity.
The lowest level of christianity is “Servant”
It’s quite funny when a sunday goer christian has troubles he would acknowledge that the devil has been harrasing him. And after he has been delivered he’ll return to what state he was in the beginning.
You don’t have to be in the ministry, at least be involved in the church.
We are a body if of the body doesn’t function chop it off
These christians who think that they are not in a war will be killed in the war.
So in order to prepare for war you need the armor of God
1. Armor of God
Eph. 6
A. Loins girt about with truth
What does it do to you? Keeps you intact
Because it is the belt that holds it altogether, and it is a little bit of everything in the armor of God,
Your belt will tell how the society see’s you because among all the armors it is only the armor that you can carry in social places (is there truth in your life)
– How you dress(lewdness,tattoos) , how you talk(seasoned with salt), how you eat
– If theres no truth in your life, you mishandled grace. (Grace and truth)
– Thats why when you lack something in your life (armor) the belt reflects it in your life, you’re not intact
– Thats why many false prophets and apostles are arising because they lack the most simplest thing in the armor
-If man will really ask you deeper things about your life, the Holy Ghost will rise from your belly
– Truth also is the Holy spirit in your inner man (out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water) that’s the reason he is called the spirit of truth.
B. Breast plate of Righteousness
What does it do to you? Protects you from accusation
theres a reason why the devil is called the accuser of the brethren. Because he targets your heart
– How to acquire righteousness? – Alone time with God
Ex. Sodom and Gomorrah
– Aware of his presence / and the wrong presence
– More aware of his word and his plan / We Become more Sensitive
– God speaks to your heart not in your mind
1 Corinthians 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.
Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God; for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.”
2 Corinthians 5:21 For He hath made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

-a continual fellowship with God makes you as bold as a lion. Some of us are bold as a cat
C. feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace
What does it do to you? Protects you from slipping
Psalm 17:5
Uphold my goings in Thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.
Peace protects you from slipping
EX. when you’re in trouble you can have peace.
– Gospel is for peace and not for debate
ex. member who debates in foodcourt
D. Shield of faith
What does it do? Quench the fiery darts of the wicked
Proverbs 7:23
Until a dart strike through his liver, as a bird hasteneth to the snare and knoweth not that it is for his life.
Faith protects your righteousness but righteousness holds your faith.
Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
Faith is not believing
You have to walk your faith
2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.
James2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
E. Helm Of Salvation
What does it do? Protects you from wrong thoughts
– Carnal mind, corrupt mind
– Some of us don’t have a saved mind (mind of christ)
– Obedience( tig-a ulo)
F. Sword of the Spirit
What does it do? Gives deliverance and Salvation to people
- Heb 4:12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
If you are so skillfull with your sword (word of God) it can also be a defense
-but it has to be accompanied with the truth
H. Prayer
– is the armor in your home
Many servants of God lose the fight after the service when they are tired. or they dont pray after the service
Because the attack doesn’t come in the service it comes after.
How do people lose the armor?
- Close friends
- family
Because you don’t wear your armor when you’re with your family or friends
That is why many are hurt by their comrades cause it is impossible to wear your armor in fellowship

2. Hunger and thirst for Righteousness
Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
- When we were born again we noticed something in our lives we became hungry for the word and his presence
We all have been in this state, when we were born again we were so hungry. We couldn’t wait for Sunday to come. Some of us decided to go to bible study for the first time
We longed for his word and presence
Now as we kept our hunger we will notice something. We will lose it. why?
Because over eating is not good for you. You have to exercise.
That’s where ministry comes in.
We can’t just eat and drink all the time
Christians who do that are unhealthy
They love to always receive and receive and receive and never give.
These are the christian’s who complain alot anyways. Who never give tithes
The moment you accept to be apart of the ministry test will come and after that favor will come.
- When you don’t know how to handle your schedule properly you will lose your hunger
- Ministry demands time, so does work and study
Your body will demand something and that is pleasure, you to drink coffee eat your hamburger and your fried chicken… be with your barkada
And slowly you lose it, because you have substituted spiritual hunger for natural hunger
And you’ll lose your hunger.. how will you regain that?
- Without hunger we die as Christians, cause hunger is a sign of life
3. Focus
Focus will keep you hungry
The moment you go home what do u do?
Do u do your devo?
You see a wordly person with precise focus is more powerful than a 100 Christian that has a broken focus
Why ISIS is so powerful? Focus
Psalms1:1-3 Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
whatever they do prospers.
The only reason we fail is broken focus
Tower of babel the thing they have imagined..

4. vision
Prov 29:18 Asv Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint; But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
- Prov 29:18 kjv Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Every school has a vision, scientia et fides

- 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
How to do it? God.. how to seek God ? Hunger…
