After three months of enjoying the sweetness of Gods words. TKC Pastors and teachers together with our Senior Pastors, Pas Tohnee and Lily are now honoring the children’s faithfulness through the third gift shop entitled “Nothing but Desserts”. Inspired by the sweet presence of God and as well as the famous cake shop here in Iloilo, the whole team collaborated to come up with one of a kind set up for the children.

The simple TKC hall in just a blink of an eye is now filled with giant cupcakes and stick-o which will definitely bring you back to your childhood. The whole place was divided into four stations: The first station is the “Train to Pastries” where children can buy boat tart, yema, pastillas, merengue and macaroons which are all hand made by our dear TKC teachers. The second Station is the “Candy Land”, where you can find all chocolates and candies that our TKC children definitely love. And if you’re looking for mouth-watery cupcakes then you may go to the third Station the “Cuppy Cakes”. And of course the whole menu of desserts will not be complete without ice cream and drinks in the fourth Station “Sweet Drinks”.

The 332 children did not miss the chance to trade their collected points for their favorite candies and desserts. Though the entire event lasted within just an hour yet every seconds become memorable not just to the children but as well as to us the teachers. As we also enjoy seeing the children carrying their bags filled with their chosen desserts. Indeed, no words can describe the joy it brings if you make these little children happy.

With these we would like to thank all those persons who stand behind this success. First to the almighty God who brought these little angels to our Church, to our Dear Senior Pastors, Pas Tohnee and Lily who never cease to support this ministry, to Our TKC Pastors, Pas Anelene, Pas Rowena, Sister Maricel, Gideon, and all the TKC teachers and helpers for their time, efforts and talents. Thank you so much. May this activity motivate more children to be faithful in following Jesus! Praise God!
