Titus 2:11-12 King James Version
11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
We Christians are used to think that by believing in Jesus would lead us straight to heaven, and I also believe that until now but most of us don’t really know what it means to believe in Jesus.
You see most of Jesus’ disciples left him after a certain time “miracle feeding” “bread of Life”
And it would put a question in our minds because they’ve seen miracles, demons casted out, sick being healed and yet they left Jesus.
How can we really attain true salvation?
It is only by giving your life to Jesus that u can assure your salvation. “further explain later”
We accept Jesus because of love and not because of Fear.
Yet if we continue to believe in this ideology we become foolish, troubled and unlearned
1. Foolish, Troubled and Unlearned
Prov 22:3 A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.
Ignorant = some of us are so ignorant that we think everything is ok because we are a Christian.
Disco, horror movies, worldly music, magic / sorcery, play with worldly friends, go to work abroad.
Powerless, oppressed…

I have seen Christians that do not know what is the will of God for their life and the reason is they don’t hear Gods voice. How can we hear God’s voice?

Believe in Jesus = ?
Sunday Goers = will they be saved? are they a servant?
I have been a Sunday goer from grade school to college. and I looked back, I was not saved.

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
The Cost is High = Rich young ruler
Mark 10:17-30

But Jesus answered again and said to them, “Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches[b] to enter the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”26 And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves, “Who then can be saved?”27 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”28 Then Peter began to say to Him, “See, we have left all and followed You.”29 So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife[c] or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, 30 who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.
luke 9:23-24 23 And He said to them all, “If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever will lose his life for My sake, the same shall save it.

watch and pray that you may be counted worthy

It is a reward for obedience not a gift of grace

46 Blessed is that servant whom his lord, when he cometh, shall find so doing.47 Verily I say unto you, that he shall make him ruler over all his goods.48 But if that evil servant shall say in his heart, ‘My lord delayeth his coming,’49 and shall begin to smite his fellow servants and to eat and drink with the drunken,50 the lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,51 and shall cut him asunder and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
