God told me to preach regarding this topic, and I believe if we don’t come into the unity in faith we would all lose it all, In terms of our spirituality and blessings.
Indeed it is the year for our release, but we must not be too comfortable, as it will be opposed by the enemy.
And the only thing defeat that opposition is our unity in the spirit.
As the Joshua and the Israelites were defeated in the valley of AI so will we be defeated if one is in contradiction to our movement. Think about it one man’s sin set a nation back.
We, the church are most powerful when we are all in one accord and in one mind. And today I will preach this topic to you… Unity in Faith…
Before I start I want to make this statement that every epistle in the new testament spake of the unity of the church…
Key text:
Hebrews 13:1-6 Let brotherly love continue.
Romans 16:16 — “Greet one another with a holy kiss”
1 Corinthians 16:20 — “Greet one another with a holy kiss”
1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
Romans 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Psalm 133 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
Do You know what this verse is trying to say? When were in unity
1. The anointing flows without hindrance
2. The anointing flows abundantly
Cause it says it flows from the beard to the skirts of his garments
The anointing doesn’t flow when it’s not abundant, it only flows when it’s plenty
When we are united there will be a greater release of the anointing of God.
When I say greater release I mean like in the days of the apostles where the supernatural becomes normal.
If you were to look at the Apostles they were always in one accord fellowship, eating, prayer and worship
As the scripture says there’s anointing if the brothers are in unity
In the past the only thing that kept the Israelites from their promises was their divided Goals
Some wanted this some wanted that, all cared for their own. I hope we will not be like them.
A divided nation can’t stand, A Divided Church can’t stand
We were like them in the past, let’s be honest we seldom talk with the other Regions…
But now the wall is slightly broken… I talk to some zones…
I believe we can continue on bridging the gap… as the gap gets closer the anointing gets thicker
Forgive one another – whatever it may be…
You know what is the hardest part?
Forgiving someone, who doesn’t act sorry for their doings, or they don’t feel wrong of what they did.
And may I add there are so many unsettled conflict in this church between friends and leaders.
Galatians 6:1
“Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.”
The government can’t produce good product, if the government itself is fighting against one another
Ex. US had a shutdown
So what must we do? Let us all be united…
Let’s all be honest we want to be the church that God will use mightily in these last days
We will be the church that God will use
WE will be the TRUE ANOINTED CHURCH!!! In these last days…
We will be united!!!
1 Corinthians 12:12-25
12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves[a] or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.
14 For the body does not consist of one member but of many. 15 If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body.
17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell? 18 But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose.
19 If all were a single member, where would the body be? 20 As it is, there are many parts,[b] yet one body.
21 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.”
22 On the contrary, the parts of the body that seem to be WEAKER are indispensable, 23 and on those parts of the body that we think less honorable we bestow the greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with greater modesty, 24 which our more presentable parts do not require. But God has so composed the body, giving greater honor to the part that lacked it(inferior part), 25 that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.
Weaker parts – inner parts, lungs, heart, kidney etc. (pastors, elders) = indispensable, necessary
Less honorable – backside of the body (intercessors, administration, cooking) = greater honor
Unpresentable parts – anus etc. etc. (the less privileged ones) = modesty, comeliness, decency
Presentable parts – hands, feet, face (Youth, fetchers, ushers) = don’t require recognition
We are the body of Christ as the scripture says and we are many members and many administrations
We must know our function
We can’t say in order for me to be effective I must be seen in the stage… no…
That’s not it… as the scripture some are called to be this and this and this
Don’t destroy your spiritual life by doing something you we’re not called
You know what, if I weren’t a DJCell Leader or LAT (Leader Advisory Team) or even a preacher I would be satisfied by being a doorkeeper… I’m not joking… I was once a bellboy you know… and guests liked me a lot…
I like Godofredo Gailo & the second service man they are one of our Usher
You can brighten up a persons day
Don’t overestimate yourself… by seeking power, manifestations,
I want to be in the healing ministries, ministry team, worship team…
Start from the bottom and slowly climb your way up…
Don’t start from the top by digging to the bottom
As some of us wants to be recognize instantly… and that breaks unity because you think about your fame and not for the glory of God
Don’t underestimate yourself by doing something less of what God has intended for you
• What happens when one of the parts of the body is sick or doesn’t function properly? What do we do in the natural?
We take our medicine we go to the doctor…
Same way we go to our leaders to be prayed for
And if the part of the body still doesn’t perform? We perform a surgery
That’s when your leaders will contend with you…
If the body persists to function (cancerous)… the doctor will advise you to cut it off…
the leaders will just cut you off…
1 Corinthians 4:15
For though ye have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.
1 Timothy 1:2
Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.
Philemon 1:10
I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:
We are a Spiritual family and we have a spiritual father that is pastor tohnee and lily
Family tree – we are not equal… we were made equal
We have received something along the way…
Are you equal with a doctor? Mayor? President? Pastor? Apostle? Prophet? No.
Because these people have received something along the way
As a family we must know how to be subject to one another
As pastor toh nee Is the head so be it. As your cell leader is your head so be it.
We must know how to follow our leaders or the one that is above us
Hebrews 13:17
17 Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.
The moment we don’t listen to our authority we lose it…
my sheep hears my voice
if u don’t listen to your DJCL… you’re not his sheep and he’s not your leader
If u don’t listen to your pastors, maybe you’re not part of this family… maybe you are meant for a different church and I don’t mean this in a harsh way that’s just the truth…
You must belong to a family where everyone knows you, don’t be a stranger in this church,
For every family gathering has a certain excitement.
Ooh i’m gonna meet my cousin later, my tito, my tita
When the head calls for a BBQ we all go for BBQ
When pastor calls for prayer we all go to prayer gathering
Because were a family and one body in Christ
We all must function as one entity
This is a business, God is in the business of saving souls and one of the hardest business to manage is a family business
One of the riches man said this if you are a family member in the business empire you will be treated according to your position, if you’re late you would be scolded, if you’re wrong you will be corrected…
you can’t say brother,we’re cousins … migohay “we’re friends”…
And that’s what most Christians do when they work for other Christians…
“He is also a Christian… that’s ok… it’s not ok… nope, as an employer as myself I expect a better quality of standard from Christians
It’s like this if our business would one day be bankrupt, or the business would not do well… where would we get our food? Can your “migohay(we’re friends)” “Christian” buy us food? No!!!
And this leads me to my next point in the body of Christ / Family Tree
We should not judge partially
1 Timothy 5:20-21
20 Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.
21 I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.
Some of us are easily offended when your friend who is a cell leader corrects you
DJCell Leaders must correct their members, even though their your friends
You must reprove, rebuke & exhort
2 Timothy 4:2
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
Hey I’ve been in a lot of meetings and pastors have asked me a lot of serious questions in the past… and my answer would always be in no partiality, my answer doesn’t change even though you’re my friend my wife my family …
As the scripture says put on your office… LAT .. then I’ll judge as an LAT even though you’re my family friends, enemies, classmates… It doesn’t matter
And I thank my father for this.. . for he has taught me integrity and dignity
– Busybodies in the church
2 Thessalonians 3:11-15
11 For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
12 Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
13 But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
14 And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
15 Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother
If u serve God once a year, once a month
Thank you at least it is the start…
And I guarantee you you will have a good time doing ministry work for Jesus
2 Peter 2:1
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
Galatians 2:4
And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:
1Cor 11:13-15
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
If our church will become united, if all would work, if all would have one vision
There’s only one thing that can destroy our higher walk with God and that would be the false brothers around us
If you’re really for this church look out for one another. Look out for the church. If anyone would attack this church defend it even though no one would see you.
You know why our government had a hard time clearing drugs on the early years?
Because of corrupt officials
As there is corruption in the world so there is in the spiritual
Paul warned us continually of this matter
And this is God’s word to me this year
Be careful of false apostles, prophets, teachers, brothers etc.
Be careful of the ones that bring confusion to the church…
I love this church with all my heart… I hate the ones who uses this church…
The early church also had a problem with false brothers
There was one time the church can’t move forward because of doctrines…
Paul was fed up he called them “whatsoever” they were…
Galatians 2:4-6
4 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:
5 To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
6 But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man’s person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:
I thank God for Discerning of the spirits… I really do, it helped me avoid such dangers, it helped me to take action against that is contrary to the move… and the thing about it is there’s no evidence you just have to trust what the Holy Spirit is saying
And you will be surprised that the problem will lift by itself
How to know them?
1 John 4
4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

And this is my sharing for today… lets all be united, let’s all be subject to One Another, let all be done in order… and let us all prepare for a greater release this year.
