Our ‘WONDER WOMEN’ under the W.O.W (Women of Wonders’) Fellowship had a blast last Jan. 17, 2014!
It was simply a time to set aside the chores, responsibilities of the everyday woman’s life..and be ’empowered’ thru a time of laughter, food &…women’s power!
It was WOMEN’S LIB ala E_tab! Fun, fun, fun just predominated the evening…as the wise proverb goes…A MERRY HEART DOETH GOOD LIKE A GOOD MEDICINE!
And that was what W.O.W is all about!
Biblical fasting is the voluntary abstaining from food (and sometimes drink) for a spiritual purpose – to seek God with humility, repentance, prayer, and dependence. Biblical fasting is not about manipulating God but positioning ourselves before Him.
God doesn’t want you to finish the year empty— He wants you to finish on FIRE.
Humility is seen, lived, and perfected in Christ. Humility begins with Christ, not us. Humility is not a human virtue we perfect; it is a Christ revealed reality we can receive.
Jesus came for two purposes: To represent the Faithful God, the God whose face was smitten because of another god and to present us to the Father as the redeemed unfaithful lovers.
If you humble yourself towards Christ, God will highly exalt you like He exalted Christ. Because Christ humbled himself, God lifted Him high.
