Key Text: 3 John 1-5
The elder unto the well beloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth.
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.
I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers;
Which have borne witness of thy charity before the church: whom if thou bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, thou shalt do well: Because that for his name’s sake they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles.
Many of us don’t know what God’s plan for our lives is, and for that we struggle in life, and we ask ourselves what is the purpose of our existence.
Our Purpose in life is to be a blessing. Just to be a blessing.
I remembered my friends joking about their burial and joking about not wanting others to mourn in their wake. But I wanted people to cry at my burial because it meant I did something good when I was still alive. I want to hear people say it was Winston who helped me, it was Winston who gave me a job, and it was Winston who shared the gospel to me. It was Winston who led me to the Lord. Winston was such a blessing. I want to die being remembered
I remembered when Pastor Lily went to France, Pastor Carlyn cried when she left. Because it meant that Pastor Lily did something beautiful in her life.
Kobe Bryant once said in the interview, your career is not defined by your championships or the money you’ve earned. It is the Legacy you left behind.
1. Salvation
Most people would think that salvation is acquired from good works. While it is actually Jesus alone who is able to save you.
Most people in our country don’t know how salvation works. Their response to the question if they are saved?
1. They are a good person
2. Maybe
3. I don’t know
4. I’m going to hell
We don’t think of eternity until it’s too late
Ex. Benny in prayed for a mall owner
Believing in Jesus is not just in the mind, It is in the:
1. Spirit
2. Soul
3. Body
Throughout the years this so called salvation has been twisted, to the point people are confused what to believe in. In our generation salvation comes through:
1. Catholic – good works
2. Iglesia ni cristo – you can’t be saved unless you go to our church
3. 7th day Adventist – doesn’t believe in heaven
It is only through Jesus that we can be saved
It is hard to continue being saved
– Once save you are saved
– Work out your salvation with fear and trembling
– Run the race
Today we see Christians having tattoo, piercing, fornication, gay marriage as if it’s normal. Christians going to mediums for counsel as if it’s normal.
We have to wake up from this non-sense, till it’s too late.
The bible tells us to separate ourselves from the world. Don’t do the lifestyle of a Gentile.
Matthew 16:16
1. Personal encounter with Jesus
2. Holy spirit revealed to you that Jesus is the Messiah
3. Speak with your mouth
4. Speak publicly
2. Prosperity
Most of us skip this part, we skip to the “anointing” while it’s God’s plan to prosper you.
God desires that you prosper in everything you do
3 John 1:2
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Bible’s definition of prosperity means no lack . Yet some of us are still lacking, most of us are lacking
2 million will only get you a house, you still lack 5 million for additional like:
1. A car for your family
2. Education for your children
3. Food and clothing to sustain you
There will come a time that a great wealth transfer will happen, and it is coming to the church.
i.e. Mayweather pacquiao

Imperial appliance

I heard so many testimonies that debts are being cancelled
How to be Prosper?
– Give to the gospel
Luke 6:38
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Proverbs 3:9-10
Honor the LORD with your possessions,
And with the firstfruits of all your increase;
So your barns will be filled with plenty,
And your vats will overflow with new wine.
Psalm 112
Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

3. Healing
Most first time believers don’t need this because they are saved at such a young age, but the sick need this badly
It is so sad to see that some Christians don’t believe in healing
Do you know Jesus is angry with those who don’t believe in healing?
Mark3:5
And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
Over these years I have seen healing take place.
One pastor ask another pastor, why is it that in my meetings, most healing took place with the unbelievers?
– Most healing that Jesus did was for the unbelievers
Healing is for you today.
And I think we all have to admit that only a few get healed when we pray
But there will come a time that all will be healed
For the leaders let your pastors anoint you with oil because it stirs up faith
4. Anointing
It is God’s plan for you to be anointed, and the anointing is not for show it is for ministry
If your motive of having the anointing is wrong, the anointing can destroy you.
Acts 8:18-24
And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, saying, “Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.”
But Peter said unto him, “Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money!
Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter, for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.
Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God that perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.
For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness and in the bond of iniquity.”
Then Simon answered and said, “Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.”
THE ANONTING IS FOR SERVICE
We all have different anointing
– Youth
– Worship
Without the anointing we fail as servants of God.
Without the anointing I’m not a preacher I’ll become a motivational speaker
That’s why some churches that lost the anointing are substituting
Worship for entertainment
Deliverance for psychiatric session
Prophecy for sound speech
Fasting for feasting
How do you know you’re anointed?
– You change people’s lives
– You give them a sense to live
Seek the anointing. Ask God for the anointing. And this is “In order”
Salvation
Acts 2:36-39 36
Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.
Prosperity
Acts 2:43-46
And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of hear.
Healing
Acts 3:2-8
And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; 3Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted himup: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
Anointing
Acts 4:31-35
And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
Sharing among Believers
Acts 2:42-47
And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.
Salvation
Exodus 12:29-33
And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne, unto the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of cattle.
And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he and all his servants and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where there was not one dead.
And he called for Moses and Aaron by night and said, “Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel! And go, serve the LORD, as ye have said.
Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said; and be gone, and bless me also.”
And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, “We are all dead men.”
Prosperity

And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses, and they borrowed from the Egyptians jewels of silver and jewels of gold and raiment.
And the LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they despoiled the Egyptians.
Healing
Exodus 15:22-2621st Century King James Version (KJ21)
So Moses brought Israel from the Red Sea, and they went out into the Wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.
And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah [that is, Bitterness].
And the people murmured against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?”
And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD showed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet. There He made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there He put them to the proof,
and said, “If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in His sight, and wilt give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee which I have brought upon the Egyptians; for I am the LORD that healeth thee.”
Anointing
Exodus19:11-12
The Lord said unto Moses, go unto the people and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes, and be ready against the third day: for the third day the Lord will come down in the sight of all people upon mount Sinai.
Exodus 19:17-18
And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God: and they stood at the nether part of the mount and mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.
Conclusion
God’s plan for you is in this order
1. Salvation
2. Prosperity
3. Healing
4. Anointing
He will give you all of this if you just be faithful, he will give you all if you just ask of him.
