YC celebrated Valentine’s Day just Friday last, with a JS themed event … with one and all coming in their best dressed attires!
And since age-wise LOVE isn’t exactly something we espouse in YC due to obvious reasons … we celebrated the love of God instead, which come to think of it can be a daily event, and not just a once a year celebration!
The religious leaders were to picture themselves as shepherds. In reality, as leaders of the nation, they should have been serving as shepherds of God’s people.
Put Him first in your life and then all these real needs will be met; not the slavish needs that your fallen self wants you to believe.
There will be no poor among you’ states the ideal situation. This is a statement that God is giving to the church today.
