YC celebrated Valentine’s Day just Friday last, with a JS themed event … with one and all coming in their best dressed attires!
And since age-wise LOVE isn’t exactly something we espouse in YC due to obvious reasons … we celebrated the love of God instead, which come to think of it can be a daily event, and not just a once a year celebration!
Holiness means being set apart for God, living in a way that reflects His character. 1 Peter 1:15-16 says, ‘But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do: for it is written: ‘Be holy, because I am holy.’
Redemption always involves a ransom or a sacrifice to buy us back from Satan, our slave master; to buy us back from our sin and folly.
When something deviates from its original plan and design, and is recovered and restored, we call it redemption.
You and I have been held captive to sin, but Christ has purchased our pardon and set us at liberty. When a person has this life-changing experience, he will want to sing, “Redeemed, redeemed, redeemed!”
